Erin… A city where the past meets the future. A land once blessed by the gods, now teetering on the edge of chaos. Long ago, the ancestors spoke of a Guardian, one who would rise when darkness threatened to consume us all. That time… is now.
The last Guardian fell, and with him, the hopes of our people. But destiny
cannot be denied. A new warrior must rise… or Erin will be lost forever.
In the sacred temple of Oyo, Baba Jide, the wise elder, stands before Oye. His voice carries the weight of generations.
A Prophecy Fulfilled
Baba Jide places a firm hand on Oye’s shoulder and speaks with solemn
wisdom. "Oye the time has come. The spirit of your ancestors flows through
you. You are the chosen one, the Guardian of Erin. Evil rises, and you must
stand against it."
Oye steps back, shaking his head in disbelief. "But,
Baba, I am just a man. How can I fight against such darkness?"
Baba Jide chuckles softly, and says to Oye, do you think the warriors before
you were born ready? Power is not just given. It is discovered, moulded, and
strengthened through fire. The gods have chosen you. Do not let fear cloud your
purpose."
Oye sighs, looking at his hands. "And if I fail? If I am not who they
believe me to be?"
Baba Jide lifts an ancient relic, its inscriptions glowing faintly. You are
more than a man. You are the descendant of the ancient warrior Erinmila, blessed
by the gods. Take this - the Emblem of Olofin – and embrace your destiny."
(Baba Jide hands Oye a glowing
bracelet, which wraps around his wrist and fuses with his skin, sending waves
of energy through his body. His eyes glow a bright gold. Oye gasps as visions
of past Guardians flood his mind - warriors battling dark forces, each bearing
the same emblem.)
Oye grips his wrist, his breathing heavy. "I feel… them. Their
strength. Their pain. Their will."
Baba Jide nods. And now, it is yours.
The Emergence of Oye
Meanwhile, in the underbelly of Erin, a masked figure, Aje, stands before his
gathered followers in a hidden lair. Torches flicker against ancient stone
walls covered in forbidden markings.
Aje paces slowly, his voice dripping with contempt. "For too long, this
city has been ruled by the weak. They have abandoned the old ways, and for
that, they must suffer. We shall cleanse Erin and rebuild it in my image!"
Follower steps forward hesitantly. "But, Master Aje, the Guardian"
Aje cuts him off, his voice a whisper but full of menace. "The Guardian
is a myth. A foolish tale to comfort the powerless. But I… I am real. And soon,
Erin will know it."
(The followers chant in unison. Aje, adorned in dark armour with tribal markings, raises his hand, summoning a force of energy that shatters the walls behind him. In the distance, a cloaked figure watches from the shadows, whispering into a communication device.)
The Battle Begins
Oye, now clad in ceremonial warrior garb infused with modern enhancements,
stands on a rooftop, staring down at the burning city. He tightens his fists.
Oye exhales sharply. "I wanted more time. But time waits for no
man."
(Oye leaps across rooftops as Erin
descends into chaos. Aje’s forces unleash destruction across the city. Oye lands
in the city square, where Aje awaits, standing with his arms crossed, watching
the chaos unfold like a god overseeing destruction.)
Aje smirks, his voice thick with amusement. "Ah, the so-called Guardian
has arrived. Tell me, do you truly believe you can stop me?"
Oye rolls his shoulders, stepping forward. "I don’t just believe it. I
know it."
Aje raises a hand, dark energy forming. "Confidence. A powerful weapon,
but useless without strength. Let’s see if you have any."
(They clash in a battle of raw
strength and supernatural power, shaking the city itself. Oye’s blows land with
the force of a hurricane, while Aje’s dark energy crackles like lightning. The
two warriors strike, counter, and dodge, each testing the other’s power.)
Aje, laughing between strikes. "You have skill, Guardian, but skill
alone cannot save Erin. Do you even know what you are fighting for?"
Oye grits his teeth, blocking an attack. "I fight for the people who
cannot fight for themselves. Unlike you, who preys on the weak."
Aje snarls. "The weak are meant to be ruled! And soon, even you will
bow before me."
A City in Peril
(As the battle rages, Oye discovers
Aje is not acting alone. A mysterious voice echoes in his mind.)
The voice, deep and haunting, reverberates in Oye’s thoughts. "Oye, you
fight only a shadow. The true darkness is yet to come."
(A massive explosion separates Oye and
Aje. Aje vanishes into the night, leaving behind only a warning.)
Aje's voice lingers as he disappears into the shadows. "This is just
the beginning, Guardian. The old gods are awakening, and you are not ready for
what is to come."
(Oye clenches his fists as the city
burns around him. He looks to the sky, determination burning in his glowing
eyes.)
